So what's the big deal with Hank Jnr? He's not a politician, and he is not trying to be politically correct, which I am not sure one can totally be anyway. Yes his use of Hitler to describe the situation with President Obama and John Boehner playing golf was crass and uncalled for. BUT, what was the message? That I think is the big question. Don't be fooled by those who would cover up the message by screaming blue murder about his terminology. It's the magicians trick, watch the one hand while the other does the trick. Or is it simply the old trick, of using distraction? Hank's message is one we are all aware of. The ruling party headed by the President, and the opposing GOP headed by John Boehner are fighting like little kids, and in the meantime the economy is in the toilet, hard working Americans are losing their jobs and homes. Food is hellish expensive, gas is just ridiculous. Children are getting robbed by the government pulling funds that cause the loss of teachers, and in some extreme cases whole schools closing down. If the children are our future, God help us and the world we are going into. The government hands out billions of dollars to banks, car companies and other big institutions. What have those institutions done to help the nation in trouble - nothing. Cars are more expensive than ever, bank rates are just plain evil and just recently they are upping rates on all sorts of things. Hey, and let's not forget the enormous ungodly salaries and retirement checks they give each other still. I work for a non for profit, and we are the people that are doing more for children at risk than any organization out there, and the government keeps cutting. Non for profits are closing left right and center. One of these days, the systems in place to take care of the children that society does not want around, will be non existent. That is a fact of life right now. So Hank Jnr may have said it wrong, but his message is true and strong.
